Morocco Enforces Mandatory Vaccine Passes for Court Access, Justice Minister Says

The decision to make the vaccine pass mandatory in the courts is made on the basis of the legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency. No compromise will be possible, according to the Minister of Justice.
Questioned on the subject in parliament, Abdellatif Ouahbi indicated that this decision stems from the application of the law requiring the presentation of the Covid-19 vaccine pass.
According to him, the primacy of the government’s decision establishing the vaccine pass as a document accredited by the health authorities, taken on the basis of the legal provisions relating to the management of the state of health emergency.
Ouahbi insisted on "the application of the law", thus calling for working together to control the presentation of the vaccine pass to access the courts.
To this end, the minister said he was open to "open dialogue" with lawyers, noting however that "there will be no compromise concerning the application of the law".
