Morocco Ends Special Repatriation Flights for Foreign Tourists Amid Coronavirus Measures

Morocco has ended, this Sunday, March 22 at 12 p.m., the special system set up to facilitate the return of foreign tourists to their countries.
In a press release, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recalled that this special system had been set up following the kingdom’s decision to suspend until further notice all international passenger flights to and from its territory.
This decision is part of the preventive measures against the spread of the Coronavirus.
Proud of the successful outcome of the operation, the French Ambassador to Morocco thanked, in a tweet, all those who contributed to its success. According to her, this process has allowed the repatriation of 25,000 French nationals from Morocco to various cities in France through the mobilization of 140 planes.
"We remain attentive to the French who remain in Morocco," she specified on her Twitter account.
