Morocco to Ease Nighttime Travel Restrictions After Eid Al-Fitr

The Moroccan authorities have decided to lift the ban on night travel after the celebration of Eid Al-Fitr this Sunday, May 24. Good news for Moroccans in these times of prolonged confinement due to the coronavirus.
The authorities also intend to lift the measure banning night travel, imposed since the 1st day of the month of Ramadan between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m., after Eid Al Fitr.
However, the lifting of the ban on night travel will be supervised, that is to say that any exit of citizens must be done for a reasonable reason. Similarly, the certificate of exceptional travel and the certificate of emergency travel will still be required of any citizen.
In Morocco, the confinement is extended until June 10, in order to curb the spread of the coronavirus in the kingdom.
