The health authorities attach particular importance to the remains of patients who have succumbed to the coronavirus. Burial is carried out according to a rigorous procedure. According to l’Economiste, these precautions are taken to avoid contact with other people, including the families of the deceased.
Contrary to ordinary burial rituals, patients who have died from the coronavirus are buried by special teams, in protective gear and under high protection. They also comply with a series of precautionary measures to contain the risk of contamination.
