Morocco Considers Suspending Flights to France Amid Rising Coronavirus Cases

After China and Italy, Morocco could also decide to suspend its flights to or from France.
Morocco could make this decision for two fundamental reasons. The first is related to the 4 French people from their country, among the 7 cases of contamination by the new coronavirus, confirmed in the kingdom. The second is that the kingdom is experiencing a rapid increase in cases. In less than two weeks, seven cases have been recorded in the country, including one death (an octogenarian tested positive at the Pasteur-Maroc Institute in Casablanca).
On Wednesday, Morocco recorded the 6th case of coronavirus infection. It was a 64-year-old Franco-Senegalese woman, who arrived in Fez on March 5 from France. According to the director of the epidemiology department, nearly 300 people are currently under medical supervision by the health authorities of the kingdom.
