Morocco Coach Rotates Goalkeepers: Bounou to Face Tunisia, El Kajoui Against Benin

Which of Yassine Bounou and Munir El Kajoui, both goalkeepers for the Atlas Lions, will be lined up for the friendly matches against Tunisia and Benin? Walid Regragui, coach of the Moroccan team, has made his decision.
Adopting the method of alternating between Yassine Bounou and Munir El Kajoui. This is the choice made by the coach of the Moroccan team. Thus, Yassine Bounou will start against Tunisia, to allow his compatriot Munir El Kajoui to participate in the friendly match against Benin, according to the website Kooora. Bounou will therefore not participate in the match against Benin. A rest period for him before he rejoins his club, Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, departing for the United States of America to participate in the World Cup. "Bounou is our number one goalkeeper, and Munir, despite his good performances, understands this and shows great professionalism," said Regragui.
Morocco will face Tunisia in a friendly match on June 6, before crossing paths with Benin on the 9th of the same month, on the pitch of the Grand Stade in Fez. These two matches are part of the preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) which will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.
