Morocco Boosts French Wheat Imports Amid Drought Concerns

Morocco is expected to receive a significant amount of wheat from France. The kingdom received 1 million tons of the commodity from the hexagon during the summer.
France plans to ship 4.3 million tons of soft wheat to Algeria and Morocco in 2023/2024, Alexandre Marie, chief analyst for Agritel (Argus Media France), said in September. The hexagon has already exported 1 million tons to the kingdom last summer following the severe drought that hit the country in 2022.
