Morocco Bolsters Military with Arrival of French Sherpa Armored Vehicles

Morocco has just received a first batch of the 36 Sherpa light tactical vehicles ordered from the French company Arquus in 2020.
Videos posted on social media show the process of transferring these vehicles to Moroccan military bases, says Defensa, specifying that some of these vehicles will be destined for the special forces of the Moroccan army, and others for air defense.

The Sherpa family currently includes four basic models: the Sherpa Scout (4-5 seats), an armored liaison and reconnaissance vehicle; the Carrier, designed for troop transport or communication systems; the APC, designed for protected troop transport; and the Sherpa for Special Forces, intended for infiltration missions.
The Sherpa has already been ordered by several countries such as Egypt, Kuwait, Lebanon, Chile and Indonesia.
