Morocco Aims to Upset Belgium in Crucial World Cup Match

A few hours before the match between Morocco and Belgium, the tension is mounting in both camps. For former Belgian player of Moroccan origin Nordin Jbari, there is no reason why the results of the match should not turn in favor of Morocco.
Morocco and Belgium have rarely faced each other in such an important competition. In both camps, the predictions are going strong, especially since the match is of crucial importance for the two teams. Morocco has only one point and will have to ensure against Belgium, who were able to win three points in their first match against Canada. Against the Atlas Lions on Sunday, the Red Devils hope to snatch three more points in order to secure themselves, reports RTBF.
For former Belgian international Nordin Jbari, the two teams are favorites, but Morocco with the composition of its team has some advantages. "There are interesting things and it’s been a long time since we’ve had such a beautiful team. There is experience because a lot of players play abroad. And if you add the madness and technique of this team in addition, it can do damage," warns Nordin Jbari.
With its 4-3-3 game, Morocco could put the Belgian strategy in difficulty. "Yes, we could be put in difficulty with our defense. Because with Sofiane Boufal and Hakim Ziyech on the wings, it’s going to hurt. Boufal is a bit like Eden Hazard and Ziyech, De Bruyne. Especially since we have a good striker with Youssef En-Nesyri, who plays in Seville. He runs a lot, he’s good in duels. Belgium will have to be careful on the second ball because Ziyech can shoot easily and Boufal can dribble. And then, watch out for set pieces too. And then, we still have a nice defense with Hakimi, Mazraoui, and others who can stop the Belgian attacks," reports RTBF.
Nordin Jbari is convinced that the match on Sunday between the two countries will be a great moment of football. He calls on the Belgian players to be strategic and more focused against a Moroccan team that has the advantage of being very technical and feeling stronger since the return of the players banned by former coach Vahid Halilhodžić. "All North African teams are not alike. Morocco is a more playful team that plays forward. It is more in technical play than in physical combat, even if it has some response in the duels. And since coach Vahid left, it has freed the players. Before, only discipline mattered, while now the technique is there in addition. There is also a return of positive attitude with the new coach."
Nordin Jbari is convinced that Morocco has every chance of winning. "
