Morocco Aims for Historic First as Nigeria Seeks 10th Title in Thrilling African Women’s Football Final

This Saturday evening, Morocco plays at home in an attempt to win its first African champion title. The team faces Nigeria, the big favorite and true giant of women’s football on the continent, in the final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The match opposes two very different paths. On one side, Morocco, carried by its public and a generation of talented players like Ghizlane Chebbak and Fatima Tagnaout. On the other, Nigeria, aiming for a tenth title and having never lost a single one of the nine finals it has played.
The Moroccans will rely on the memory of the 2022 edition, where they had created the surprise by eliminating this same opponent in the semi-finals on penalties. For the Nigerians, the challenge is to confirm their supremacy and maintain their invincibility at this stage of the competition.
The match will be broadcast live on the Arryadia TNT channel as well as on beIN SPORTS. Kick-off is at 9 p.m. (Moroccan time) and 11 p.m. in France and Belgium at the Rabat Olympic Stadium.
