Morocco Among 175 Destinations Offered by Brussels Airport This Summer

Morocco is one of the 175 destinations offered this summer by Brussels-Zaventem Airport. These are destinations served by 51 airlines, including six new routes to Tetouan (Morocco), Bari (Italy), Pula (Croatia), Karpathos (Greece), Suceava (Romania) and Cluj (Romania).
Even though the coronavirus pandemic has led to border closures and the suspension of certain air links, Morocco, given its efforts to fight the spread of the virus through a fairly appreciated national vaccination campaign, remains an essential destination, reports Air-journal.
In addition to Tetouan, Brussels Airlines is adding Tangier, Al Hoceima and Nador. TUI fly will also serve the link with Larnaca (Cyprus) and Aegean Airlines with Thessaloniki," the airport said in a statement. Passengers "and there are many of them who need a vacation after this particularly difficult year, will certainly find what they are looking for among this wide range of destinations in comfortable and safe conditions".
The statement emphasizes that Brussels Airport offers the safest possible conditions. "95% of our departing passengers have a negative PCR test certificate, masks are mandatory and ventilation is optimal. With 175 destinations, the offer is particularly interesting for everyone and the connectivity of the airport, and by extension of Belgium with the world, has already been partially restored. It has been too long since calm has reigned in our terminal, we are eager to see more life and happy faces in our departure hall," said Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport.
