Moroccans in France Face Covid Test Hurdles for Morocco Travel

As some Moroccans residing in France are preparing to travel to Morocco, they are facing the difficulty of getting tested for Covid-19.
In Neuilly-sur-Seine, the laboratory located on Boulevard Charles-de-Gaulle is teeming with people on Saturday, August 15, Assumption Day. The line of people has extended to Rue Jacques-Dulud, passing through Rue d’Orléans, reports Le Parisien. Many Moroccans are waiting.
"I couldn’t find another open laboratory since it’s Assumption Day and I need the results quickly to leave," says Meriam, a 29-year-old childminder. This Moroccan resident in Gif-sur-Yvette (Essonne) needs to go to Morocco urgently, but she has to wait up to 3 hours to get tested.
"I heard there was a three-hour wait, I’m not surprised but there should be more staff to meet the demand," says Catherine, a 50-year-old research manager.
