Moroccan Youth Initiative: Fondation de France Launches Projects in Souss-Massa-Draâ

A call for projects has been issued by the Fondation de France for non-profit associations and cooperatives operating in the Souss-Massa-Draâ region. This initiative is part of the "Mediterranean, from one shore to the other" Program. Its objective is to implement the integration of young people.
Addressed to active young people, aged 18 to 30, the Program has been designed according to two major components. Firstly, it is a question of taking into account promising employment projects that touch on social, cultural and environmental activities. Secondly, projects related to the production and dissemination of information and images, as well as access to these two factors and their understanding, will also be eligible.
In addition, this Program sets up two types of grants. On the one hand, a pot of 12,000 euros is intended for small, start-up associations whose project duration does not exceed 12 months. On the other hand, for already established associations supporting a project in full development, the proposed funds range from 15,000 to 30,000 euros. These should not exceed a period of 2 years.
For about ten years, the Fondation de France has been able to support 400 projects in the Maghreb countries, by revitalizing associations active in the processes of social and professional integration of young people. This initiative aims to fight against unemployment, social exclusion and identity tensions, all phenomena that particularly affect young people.
