Moroccan Victim of Paris Apartment Fire Repatriated for Funeral in Meknes

The body of the 23-year-old Moroccan woman who died in the fire that ravaged a building in the 16th arrondissement of Paris on Monday has, according to a consular source, been repatriated to Morocco on Friday evening.
It was on board a Royal Air Maroc plane, departing from Paris-Orly airport, that the repatriation operation took place.
A gathering had previously been held at the Paris Forensic Institute, followed by the removal of the body, in the presence of the deceased’s family members and Mustapha Bouazzaoui, the Moroccan Consul General in the French capital.
Once arrived at Rabat-Salé airport, the body was transported to Meknes, the hometown of her parents, where the funeral took place yesterday, Saturday.
