Moroccan Striker Tarik Tissoudali Named Best Maghrebi Player in Belgian Pro League

Moroccan player Tarik Tissoudali, who plays for Gent, was named the winner of the Belgian Lion on Monday, becoming the best player of the year of Maghrebi origin in the Pro League.
Born in Amsterdam, the 28-year-old Tissoudali succeeds Belgian of Moroccan origin Selim Amallah in the trophy’s roll of honor. He received 34.1% of the votes, ahead of Amallah who received 26.8%, reports Belga.
Effective with his club, the Moroccan striker scored 10 goals and provided 6 assists. The last two were scored last weekend in the match that pitted his club against Standard (3-1).
Among the ladies, it is Sakina Ouzraoui of Anderlecht who wins, as last year, the Belgian Lioness trophy.
