Moroccan Plastic Surgeons Slam TF1 Report on Low-Cost Cosmetic Surgery

The Moroccan Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (SMCPRE) was outraged, on Thursday, February 11, by the report on aesthetic surgery in Morocco, broadcast on the French channel TF1 in the "Sept à huit" program.
SMCPRE condemns "the images conveyed as well as the messages contained in the report" entitled "The silhouettes of Casablanca, scalpel at low prices", broadcast in the "Sept à huit" program on the French channel TF1. This report sparked a flood of reactions on social media because of the expression "ferrari design" used by Dr. Guessous, a famous Casablanca practitioner, to describe Moroccan women.
Dr. Guessous, who has been using this expression for several years, as well as that of "Moroccan butt" in reference to the generous buttocks of women with a slim waist, has faced strong criticism following his intervention in this report.
