Moroccan Navy’s Largest Warship Arrives in France for Joint Military Exercises

In order to participate in the annual "Chebec" exercises in France, the Frigate "Mohammed VI" has set sail for the city of Toulon. Indeed, since the end of last week, the largest unit of the Moroccan navy has been preparing to offer beautiful parades.
It is, according to the specialized newspaper Mer et Marine, cited by Medias24, a multi-mission Frigate (FREMM) 142 m long and weighing 6,000 tons. It has joined the Var naval base as part of the "Chebec", in France, to, once again, promote the know-how of the Moroccan navy.
For the record, it was built on the basis of the French units of the Aquitaine class. It is the second in a limited series of about ten FREMM.
Apart from France, which has eight units of the same model, Morocco and Egypt have each received one sample, delivered by Naval group, in early 2013.
