Moroccan Midfielder Hicham Boussefiane Struggles with Injury at Malaga FC

Hicham Boussefiane, a 23-year-old Moroccan player, is going through a difficult period. He is dragging a physical injury for which no solution has been found so far. But for Malaga FC, the Moroccan is not just any player and intends to support him to the end.
"Hicham is not at his best. Our goal is for him to recover 100%, both physically and mentally. He is improving but he is not yet the Hicham we know. Since August, he has been in a complicated situation. When he arrived, he tested positive for Covid-19 and was placed in quarantine. Then, when he resumed, he was injured during a match in Castellón. We will have to be very patient because this injury can leave sequelae," Pellicer explained, also emphasizing the importance of mental health. "It is extremely difficult for a player to start training again and have new discomforts. Beyond the player, there is the person. We have to take care of him, because he is the club’s heritage, we must not make hasty decisions," he added.
"The Hicham case worries us a lot, he is going through a bad patch, it is something unusual, we do not know where it comes from. We have consulted experts from all over the world. He has undergone several different treatments, but no change. We don’t understand what’s going on," Manolo Gaspar, very concerned about the Moroccan’s situation, said on Monday on Canal Sur. And he added: "We will try new treatments in a specialized place. He is an actor who makes the difference. We are expecting a lot from him."
