Moroccan Merchants Donate Food to Stranded French Travelers Amid Border Closure

French motorhome users, still stranded in Morocco due to the closure of borders and the suspension of air travel, have received food supplies from the merchants of Taroudant.
A representative of the association of merchants in the city of Taroudant, in a video posted on Twitter, explained the rationale behind this operation of distributing food baskets containing fruits and vegetables as well as yogurts and other food products.
"We want them to feel surrounded and reassured. They are in their country and they are welcome. We are here, and we share their sorrows," he said.
"We didn’t do this because they are in need; but out of humanity, we know that it is the gesture that counts," he specified.
In total, 32 French motorhome users benefited from this operation.
