Two Moroccan Men Found Shot Dead Near Nîmes, France

The two men whose bodies were found last Sunday in Marguerittes, in the Nîmes region, are Moroccans. They would have been executed, both by gunfire, according to the first elements of the investigation, disclosed by the Gendarmerie.
The bodies of the two victims were discovered by a walker, reports the regional newspaper Midi Libre, according to which they would have been killed by shotgun fire. "It would be shotgun fire, one shot in the eye, the other in the neck. In both cases, the injuries completely devastated the faces of the victims who would have died almost instantly from the cranial injuries," writes the Journal.
Aged 33 and 40, they are two Moroccans, one of whom has lived in the region for many years, and another only for a few months and who, apparently, did not have a residence permit.
Still according to the same source, these executions bear the mark of organized crime. "The investigators of the Nîmes Research Section know who the victims are, how they died. It remains to be seen why. The context of acts perpetrated within the framework of drug trafficking seems to be the backdrop to this case," the Journal also indicates.
The identity of the two Moroccans killed is not yet known.
