Moroccan Man Stabbed in Daylight Attack in Avignon City Center

This knife attack took place in broad daylight, around 12:40 pm, near the Place des Carmes, rue des Infirmières in the center of Avignon.

The young man of Moroccan origin, aged 25, was in serious condition after the attack. He was saved thanks to the firefighters who arrived about ten minutes later to provide assistance.

The victim, whose vital prognosis is not engaged, was taken to the hospital to receive appropriate care.
