Moroccan Man Arrested in Spain for Triple Homicide and Arson in Valladolid

The police arrested on Saturday in Valladolid a 43-year-old Moroccan, as the alleged perpetrator of the assault on two elderly couples at their home and the murder of three people, including his wife and mother-in-law.
Emergency services were alerted to a fire in a house and the firefighters who rushed to the scene to put out the fire found the body of a 72-year-old man who had been stabbed. Five minutes later, another fire broke out a few steps away, in an apartment where the bodies of two women aged 72 and 54 were found with signs of violence, reports El Mundo.
The events took place on Saturday afternoon in the La Rondilla neighborhood of Valladolid. Around 11:30 p.m., the police arrested the 54-year-old woman’s husband, a 43-year-old Moroccan man. According to the police investigation, the aggressor had the intention of entering the homes of his victims. "According to the police investigation, the aggressor intended to enter the homes of his victims," the government delegation in Valladolid said in a press release.
An investigation has been opened to determine the motives for these crimes, of which the Moroccan is the sole alleged perpetrator. For the moment, the investigators lean towards a settling of scores. Since June 30, seven crimes have already been recorded in Valladolid and the province.
