Moroccan Man Arrested for Shooting Aggressive Monkey Terrorizing Town

An aggressive monkey caused trouble last Thursday in El Hajeb. While the authorities were unable to catch it, a citizen simply shot it with his hunting rifle. But the authorities did not stop there...
Believing he was doing the right thing by incapacitating an aggressive monkey that the authorities had been unable to neutralize, and that this monkey was even likely to have rabies, a man has just been arrested by the police to be questioned about his actions.
Five shots were fired by the latter, with his hunting rifle, for which, according to Meknespress, he has a valid permit. The monkey, it is said, threatened the inhabitants and even tried to break into several homes.
But, according to the Fesnews site: "local sources report the decision of the public prosecutor’s office to question, for an official report, the man who killed a monkey by gunshot with his hunting rifle, which resulted in its death." The same source even claims that the delegation of Waters and Forests in El Hajeb would have constituted itself as a civil party in this case, because, as Fesnews indicates: "it is in charge of the animal resources of the region".
