Saturday 3 August 2019, by
The masterminds of a land mafia, actively sought by the Moroccan justice system and Interpol, have been located in the no man’s land of Kandahar, near Guerguerat. They illegally sold several hectares of land belonging to deceased or absent persons from the Kingdom.
It is only a matter of time before Interpol and the Judicial Police arrest the land mafia members who have been operating for several decades in Casablanca. After arresting the mastermind of the mafia, who is a deputy, the other members of the group, on the run, have been located in the no man’s land of Kandahar, near Guerguerat, reports the daily Assabah.
According to the same source, the implementation of a development project for underprivileged neighborhoods, launched by King Mohammed VI in October 2014, for the benefit of several douars along the highway between Ain Chock and the commune of Bouskoura, will have helped uncover the pot of gold. The offenders had sold several land titles in many neighborhoods in the area, including Californie, to third parties and fictitious companies. These land titles belonged to deceased or absent persons from Moroccan territory. To conclude the sales, they were assisted by adouls who falsified the administrative documents in turn.
Latest news, the mafia members are trying to obtain the identity of Moroccan Sahrawis to escape the Judicial Police and justice, but their maneuver has not yet succeeded.
