Moroccan-Italian Model Stars in Thom Browne’s ’Little Prince’ Inspired Collection

The American brand Thom Browne has set its sights on Moroccan-Italian model Malika El Maslouhi to illustrate its new collection.
The American brand Thom Browne has made the Moroccan top model Malika El Maslouhi its muse for its new collection inspired by the famous 1943 tale "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. During the show that took place on Tuesday, the 24-year-old model was dressed in a deconstructed gray striped suit. The blazer and pants have been disassembled and patched with another material, while the shoulders of the suit hung down, reports Associated Press.
She is also seen wearing a large and complex gold headdress that covered her nose and extended over her hair. In addition to Malika, other models also walked the runways. They wore in particular high white buns with elaborate headdresses and nails on their hands and toes of infinite length. Thom Browne’s collection also includes a series of sumptuous tweed coats, all with exaggerated shoulders, with suits and ties underneath.
