Moroccan Goalkeeper Yassine Bounou Joins Al Hilal in Multi-Million Euro Deal

The Saudi club Al Hilal confirmed on Thursday evening the arrival of Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou from Seville for a three-year contract.
In a post on the X platform, formerly Twitter, Bounou, gloves on his hands, announced his arrival at the Saudi team. Indiscretions relayed by the local press mention an amount close to twenty million euros for this transaction and an annual salary of 15 million euros.
Passed through Girona, Bounou settled in Seville in 2020. Quickly, Sevilla FC decided to exercise its purchase option for the sum of four million euros to secure his contract in Andalusia.
This move by the Saudi club follows another major acquisition, that of superstar Neymar, from PSG. It should be noted that Al Hilal is the most capped team in its national league with 18 trophies, and has also won the AFC Champions League four times.
