Moroccan Foreign Minister Remains at Arab League Summit Despite Map Controversy

The rumors that Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita left the meeting of Foreign Ministers at the Arab League summit are false.
Thus, contrary to what several Algerian media claim, the Moroccan minister did not leave the meeting to protest against the broadcast by an Algerian news channel of a false map of Morocco. After this blunder, the Arab League had to issue a clarification and apologize to Morocco.
Furthermore, according to a Moroccan diplomatic source, it is not the custom of Morocco to leave a meeting, but to "defend its positions and interests within it".
