Two Moroccan families who arrived on the Chafarinas Islands on December 31 last, were repatriated to Morocco. The Nador section of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights (AMDH) denounces this "illegal" immediate return.
The two families, composed of nine members including four minors, were returned to Morocco, reported the NGO Caminando Fronteras, specifying that they were mistaken for Algerian asylum seekers.
The AMDH denounced this "illegal" immediate return and indicated that the persons concerned were released after the gendarmes took their statements.
