Moroccan Expat Remittances Reach 59.65 Billion Dirhams, Slight Dip from Last Year

Remittances from Moroccans living abroad amounted to 59.65 billion dirhams during the first eleven months of the year, announces the Office of Foreign Exchange.
These transfers are down 1.7% compared to the same period last year, the Office specifies.
In terms of foreign direct investment (FDI) flows, they amounted to 31.82 billion dirhams at the end of last November, a strong increase of 36.7% compared to the same period a year earlier, it is indicated.
Regarding the Travel balance, it reached 49.7 billion dirhams between January and November, compared to 50.62 last year, a decrease of 1.8%.
