Moroccan Driver’s Sentence Upheld for Ramming Police in Seine-Saint-Denis

The Moroccan who had rammed police officers from the Bac during a police check in Stains (Seine-Saint-Denis) in August 2021 saw his two-year prison sentence handed down by the Bobigny court confirmed by the Paris Court of Appeal.
In addition to the confirmation of the prison sentence, Nordine B., tried on appeal for refusing to comply and violence with a weapon by destination, was ordered on Tuesday to pay 1,000 euros to each civil party under Article 700 (compensation to cover all the costs incurred in this procedure), reports Le Bondy Blog. The Moroccan has nevertheless regained his freedom due to "his state of health".
Nordine B., accompanied by Merryl, his companion, had rammed anti-crime brigade officers with his car while trying to escape a routine check on August 16, 2021. He will be hit by 7 shots from the police officers. His companion also received a shot. The arrest of the Moroccan will be muscular.
