Moroccan Defender Kandouss Aims for National Team Call-Up

Moroccan player Ismail Kandouss, who currently plays for Union G in Belgium, has expressed his hope of wearing the jersey of the Atlas Lions. He is eagerly awaiting a call-up from Walid Regragui.
The 25-year-old defender had played for the Moroccan U23s, but has never had his chance with the A team, although he was pre-called up by Vahid Halilhodzic for friendly matches. In an interview with Radio Voltaire, he expressed his dream of wearing the jersey of the Atlas Lions.
Ismail Kandouss says he will work hard to get it, and will not give up in order to win the approval of the national coach. He intends to show that he has great qualities to deserve a call-up for the next events.
"Whether Walid (Regragui) calls me or not, I will continue to work hard on the pitch in the hope of one day playing for the national team," he said.
