Moroccan Cycling Star Eager to Return to Pro Racing in France Amid Lockdown

In full confinement in Morocco, the Arkéa Pro Cycling cyclist, Fatima Zahra El Hayani, is ready to return to Brittany for the races. The first Arab woman cyclist in a pro team is, for the moment, authorized to train outdoors.
Fatima El Hayani addressed, on Sunday, May 31, a message to her fans and to Brittany, via Facebook. "Hello everyone! Well, here in Morocco, we are still confined, but we can train outside (with the authorization of the government). We don’t know when our borders will reopen again, but I can’t wait to get back to the races and Brittany!", writes the Moroccan champion.
And to conclude: "In the meantime, I found a pedalo if the planes don’t take off... Morocco - Brittany by pedalo, that will make a good training! Big kisses to you all. I can’t wait to see you again".
The Moroccan cyclist is the new recruit of Arkéa Pro Cycling with whom she has signed a professional contract.
