Moroccan Culture Showcased at "Morocco Expo" in Aix-les-Bains, France

Moroccan tourism is currently in the spotlight in Aix-les-Bains, France, through a cultural event called: "Morocco expo". Until July 10, several exhibitors from the kingdom will showcase Moroccan culinary arts and crafts.
Organized by the Association of Moroccans of the Aix Basin, in collaboration with the city authorities, this event aims to highlight Moroccan culture through flavors, know-how, traditional songs and dances on the menu Colorful spices, carpets, babouches, bags and other jewelry from the kingdom, reports Le Dauphiné.
About twenty exhibitors are showcasing the originality of Moroccan cuisine and promoting Moroccan know-how in the heart of intercultural dialogue and exchanges. Scents of tagines and other couscous escape from the tents, and attract strollers to the catering stands that line the route, the newspaper notes.
The organizers have also announced the arrival of a Gnawa folk group, the Berber singer Nagham Zakour and a calligrapher who will transcribe people’s first names in beautiful Arabic letters (Friday, July 1). "We would like this event to come back every year," said Mohamed Es Slassi, president of the Association of Moroccans of the Aix Basin.
