Moroccan Court Delivers Justice in Landmark Casablanca Real Estate Fraud Case

After 12 years of legal proceedings, the Brissot affair, one of the most famous cases of land spoliation in Morocco, came to an end at the beginning of March. The main defendants, namely the villa’s caretaker and the unscrupulous developer as well as their accomplices, were sentenced to prison terms ranging from one to 12 years and a fine of two million DH.
