Moroccan Cosmetics Tycoon Mohamed Azbane, 77, to be Buried Near Paris After COVID-19 Death

The famous Moroccan businessman, Mohamed Azbane, who died earlier this week from covid-19 in Paris, will be buried on Friday in the Muslim section of the Thiais cemetery, in the Paris region.
The body of the late Mohammed Azbane, 77, is scheduled to be removed at 3 p.m. from the American Hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine. He will be buried in the presence of the Consul General of Morocco in Orly, Nada Bakkali.
A pioneer in the beauty and cosmetics sector in Morocco, the late Mohammed Azbane, born in 1943 into a modest family in a village in the Taroudant region, had created the Marie-France company in 1965, specializing in the import and marketing of semi-finished cosmetic products.
Driven by a taste for business, the deceased created his own brand, Azbane, ten years later. It has established itself over the years in the Moroccan market, before going international. This family business, which employs more than 300 people, is very active on export markets in at least fifty countries, including France, where it has an office on the famous Champs Elysées, which is responsible for distributing its products.
To date, the group is led by Khalida Azbane, his eldest daughter.
