Moroccan Cook Fatally Shot in Ceuta’s El Principe Neighborhood, Suspects at Large

A 40-year-old Moroccan was shot in the head by hooded individuals in the El Principe neighborhood of Ceuta on Monday.
Four individuals approached the victim, who worked as a cook in a fast food restaurant, and shot him before fleeing, reports Antena3. The victim was rushed to the University Hospital of Ceuta, where he eventually died.
The national police have opened an investigation to solve this crime and arrest the alleged perpetrators. For the moment, the aggressors have not yet been identified and the motive for the murder remains a mystery.

Several similar murders have already been recorded in this neighborhood since the beginning of the year. In February, agents from the unit for the fight against crime and organized crime (UDYCO) arrested two individuals for their alleged involvement in the murder of a neighbor in the neighborhood, which occurred months earlier.
The El Príncipe neighborhood is located south of Ceuta. It leads south to the city, up to the border post with Morocco, which will remain closed until November 30 due to the health crisis.
