Moroccan Consulate Partners with French Mosque to Provide Ramadan Aid for Stranded Nationals

On the occasion of Ramadan 2020, Moroccans stranded in France received food baskets from the religious association of the Puteaux mosque, affiliated with the Union of Mosques of France (UMF), which has partnered with the Moroccan Consulate General in Colombes.
Present alongside her compatriots, the Consul General of Morocco in Colombes, France, Souad Zairi, set an example by offering these food baskets to them.
She was supported during this Ramadan month by associations, including the religious association of the Puteaux mosque, affiliated with the Union of Mosques of France. The latter made a donation of 10,000 euros.
Forced to live far from their families, these Moroccans stranded in France, like many others, scattered around the world due to the closure of borders due to the coronavirus pandemic, will be repatriated in the coming days, according to the words of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita.
