Moroccan Community Hosts COVID-Safe Cultural Fair in Villeneuve-sur-Lot

A fair day was initiated on Sunday, August 9 by the Association of Moroccans in Villeneuve-sur-Lot. It took place in compliance with preventive measures to counter the spread of the coronavirus.
Visitors were welcomed with all possible precautions, reports La Depêche. At the entrance to the stands, masks and hydroalcoholic gel were made available, the organizers recall.
The initiative was visited by the deputy mayor of Villeneuve-sur-Lot, in charge of sports and associative life, Michelle Laville. The authority toured the fair to appreciate the exhibition.
In a speech planned for the occasion, one of the members of the association presented the project and explained its objectives. "We are pleased that everything went well in these somewhat difficult times," the organizers say.
