Moroccan Club Med Employee in Corsica Tests Positive for Coronavirus

In Upper Corsica, a member of the staff of the Club Med in Sant’Ambroggio, of Moroccan nationality, has tested positive for coronavirus.
According to the Regional Health Agency of Corsica, this employee tested positive last Thursday as part of the administrative formalities related to his trip to Morocco, reports France Info.
"We have no information on the place, time or circumstances in which he was exposed to the virus and contracted it," explains Thierry Orsoni, director of communication and institutional relations at Club Med. The Club Med management assures that the Moroccan did not have direct contact with the clientele.
"The strict health protocol that we have put in place in Sant Ambroggio, as for all our resorts in France and around the world, has been scrupulously followed and managed in close collaboration with the Regional Health Agency of Corsica," specifies the management.
After the detection of this case of contamination, the management has taken several measures. "The other employees in contact with him have been isolated pending the results of their test, which proved to be negative," says Thierry Orsoni.
