Moroccan-Born Candidate Enters Mulhouse Mayoral Race with Local LREM Support

Just like the candidate for the municipal election in Mulhouse, Lara Million, supported by La République en Marche (LREM), the Moroccan Fatima Jenn, who also announced her candidacy on Saturday, October 12, 2019, will be supported by local Marcheurs.
This is the third candidacy announced after those of Lara Million and Frédéric Marquet. Fatima Jenn, during a media outing at the headquarters of her movement, has taken the commitment to lead her list and has therefore launched herself without the national support of the presidential party.
According to lalsace.fr, a group of 25 Marcheurs from the local committees of Mulhouse and the agglomeration have made their choice on the native of Morocco by indicating the nature of their commitment: a "choice of heart, reason and respect for our values for which we fight".
For the same source, the business leader, who arrived in Alsace about thirty years ago as a student in science, is motivated by the gathering of all progressives around her candidacy.
While presenting her movement composed of all the living forces of the nation, the one who created her international trade company in Alsace has founded her family composed of two children with a man from the region.
For the same media, the main lines of the program of the Moroccan-French woman revolve around "living together", "security" and her desire to "bring the city together".
"I will be the candidate of the women and men of Mulhouse who want another governance in their city, who want to participate throughout the six years of the term in the in-depth transformation of their city," explained the one who entered politics by pure chance.
