A young man was found safe and sound on Thursday, October 2nd after having disappeared at sea in the Canary Islands, off the coast of Morocco, three days earlier while trying to catch up to a jet ski that had come loose from his boat.
The young man was found safe and sound three days after having disappeared at sea, not far from the island of Gran Canaria, off the coast of Morocco. He disappeared on Monday evening near the thermal power plant of Juan Grande (Gran Canaria) while trying to retrieve a jet ski.
The rescuers were able to locate the castaway by plane about fifteen nautical miles from the coast, according to the Las Palmas Coordination Center in a press release.
