Migrant Fatally Shot in Bordeaux Altercation, Suspect Arrested

A young migrant from Morocco succumbed to his injuries shortly after being admitted to the Bordeaux University Hospital. He had been fatally wounded during the night of Friday, November 22, by another migrant whom the police managed to apprehend.
Another brawl that resulted in the murder of a migrant. According to Le Parisien, the injured person, who was accompanied by another young man, was dropped off at the Bordeaux University Hospital in the early morning by a car that immediately left.
The doctors, having discovered the seriousness of the injuries - by gunshot and knife to the chest and abdomen - admitted him to intensive care. But the young man did not survive, reports Sud-Ouest for its part.
An investigation conducted by the Interregional Directorate of the Judicial Police, under the authority of the Bordeaux prosecutor’s office, led to the arrest two days later of a man in his thirties who was on his way to Spain. He is suspected "of being the author of the homicide" by the Deputy Public Prosecutor of Bordeaux Olivier Étienne. He would even be "known for many acts and in particular drug-related offenses".
It appears, according to France 3, that the deceased young man was an unaccompanied minor, most likely of Moroccan origin. For now, according to the magistrate, the investigators will have to verify whether the attack is related to drug trafficking, since it occurred in the Salinières district, an area "known for drug trafficking".
