Manuel Valls Urges France and Spain to Back Morocco’s Sahara Autonomy Plan

Former Prime Minister Manuel Valls has stated that France and Spain must be clearer in their support for Morocco on the Sahara. He argues that it is around an autonomy under Moroccan sovereignty that this issue must be resolved.
"On the Sahara issue, France and Spain must be loyal partners of Morocco, whose role is essential for the stabilization of the Mediterranean space and sub-Saharan Africa," said Manuel Valls in an interview with the influence firm MGH Partners, recalling the genesis of this conflict.
