4.7 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Off Moroccan Coast Near Casablanca

The National Institute of Geophysics announced that it recorded on Tuesday a seismic shock with a magnitude of 4.7 on the Richter scale, off the Atlantic coast.
According to the details provided by the National Institute of Geophysics, this is a shock whose epicenter is located approximately 220 km from Casablanca. It occurred at 5:35:44 PM (GMT+1), the National Seismic Monitoring and Alert Network of the ING said in a seismic alert bulletin.
Even though it was an unfelt shock, it had a depth of 30 km, extending over latitude 35.028°N and longitude 9.259°W, the same source added.
