Lyon Transit Authority Pulls Ads for Student Guide After Racism Controversy

The controversy sparked by the 2020 edition of the "Petit Paumé" has led to a decision by the Syndicat mixte des Transports pour le Rhône et l’agglomération lyonnaise (SYTRAL). Advertisements for the Guide have simply been removed from the TCL network.
The apologies of the students of the Ecole de Management de Lyon will have served no purpose. The SYTRAL has just taken action. On Monday, the Syndicate removed all "Petit Paumé" advertisements broadcast on the TCL screens from the TCL network, reports Lyon capitale.
Unless the advertising campaign for the "Petit Paumé", broadcast via the panels present on the TCL network, is over, it is also about to be suspended. The situation raises many questions in the ranks of the major partners of the "Petit Paumé", according to the same source.
After 2018, the 2020 edition of the "Petit Paumé" is fueling controversies. The publication contains a critique of the ho36 establishment, which slyly attacks the "rebeus".
"As I flee a bunch of rebeus in the Guillotière square, I rush, a little by chance, to ho36. Good catch! Young whites working on their computers, while sipping a good latte. I’ll be able to blend in with the crowd," it reads.
