Lance Armstrong Celebrates Honeymoon in Marrakech with New Wife

A few days after their wedding, the former cycling champion, Lance Armstrong, and his wife have traveled to Marrakech to celebrate their honeymoon.
Lance Armstrong, 50, and his wife Anne Hansen are spending their honeymoon in Marrakech. It is on Instagram and Facebook that the former cyclist announced the couple’s presence in the ochre city. In a story posted on Monday with the caption: "Welcome to Marrakech," his long-time partner, yoga teacher Anne Hansen, is seen at Jemaa El-Fna Square next to a man wearing a Djellaba. Surrounded by a snake around her neck, she looked startled.
Lance Armstrong announced his marriage on his Instagram account on August 9. The couple said "yes" in southern France, at Château La Coste (near Aix-en-Provence). "The Best Day. I married the love of my life @annahansenarmstrong. So special to have our kids there too. It was a night full of laughter and so many tears of joy. Anna, you have been my absolute rock these past 14 years and let me be clear, I would not have survived without you. I am so proud of the couple we have become," wrote the former athlete.
"It took work, real hard work, and I’m so glad we did it. I love you so much and I’ll always be there for you and our family. I’d be remiss if I didn’t think of our best buddy aka "Reverend" @chad_mountain who officiated the ceremony. As well as the great @lizkreutz, for making sure these beautiful memories were captured. I hope you all are having a fantastic summer - at least as hell-ish as mine."
