When asked about the player’s childhood, his grandmother Fátima explained that her grandson was generally undemanding. When she asked him what he wanted for breakfast, he simply replied: "Whatever you have, grandmother."

But young Lamine did have a few preferences. When she went shopping, he notably asked her to buy him Milka chocolate. Fátima then added that she also brought back several bottles of Don Simón that she placed in the refrigerator.

The journalist tried to gently interrupt her to avoid multiplying commercial references on TVE. The player’s grandmother, however, continued her story naturally, as if she were chatting with neighbors.

The scene caused laughter on the set and quickly circulated on social media. Viewers especially appreciated Fátima’s spontaneity and the simplicity of her memories, far from the image of global star now associated with her grandson.

Anne Igartiburu preferred to focus on the emotion of the testimony. The presenter felt that a grandmother could be forgiven for mentioning a few brands, before praising everything she had done for Lamine Yamal during his childhood.

She also thanked her by saying "chukran," (Thank you). The presenter paid tribute to families who support future champions long before their arrival at the highest level.
