Kuwait Airways Expands with New Direct Flight to Casablanca

The airline Kuwait Airways plans to launch five new routes this spring, including one to Morocco from Kuwait.
Starting June 1, 2022, Kuwait Airways will operate two weekly flights between its base in Kuwait City and Casablanca-Mohammed V airport, reports Routes Online. At the controls, an Airbus A330-800 with 32 Business class and 203 Economy class seats. The company will have no direct competition on this route (the major Gulf airlines are already present in the Moroccan city, and Royal Air Maroc for example serves Doha and Dubai).
As of May 3, the carrier will launch the route between Kuwait and Manchester Airport, with two weekly flights on an Airbus single-aisle. Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suarez airport will be served from June 11 to September 15, on the return flight of the existing line to Malaga, with three weekly rotations in A330-200 (17 First, 30 Business and 165 Economy seats) to the Spanish capital, its second destination in the country.
Finally, the Kuwaiti national airline will offer two weekly flights to Moscow-Domodedovo from June 2 to September 15. These flights are operated in A320neo. The same pace is offered to Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman from June 7.
