Kickboxing Star Badr Hari Announces Split from Longtime Coach Mike Passenier

It is probably the end of an era. The Moroccan champion, Badr Hari, has just announced that he is breaking up with his longtime coach, Mike Passenier. The reasons for this separation are not yet known.
This is what he just declared on his Facebook account. "I would like to announce the end of the collaboration with my coach, Mike Passenier," writes Badr Hari, in a message in which he pays tribute and gratitude to him.
"I want to pay tribute to him for the remarkable work by my side over these long years and thank him for his professionalism, his loyalty and everything he has taught me in kickboxing," adds Badr Hari.
Stating that his decision is guided by a desire to go even further, Hari acknowledges that successes and feats "do not come from comfort zones". In other words, he knows he still has a lot to train to be at the top for his next fights.
"My ambition is to become the next Heavyweight Champion," the Moroccan also writes, assuring that he is very motivated and confident.
"I will announce the name of my new coach in the coming weeks," concludes Hari.
