Islamic Scholar Tariq Ramadan to Face Accuser in Paris Rape Case Hearing

Tariq Ramadan and the Swiss woman who accuses him of a rape that allegedly occurred in 2008 will be able to confront their versions of the facts. This confrontation is scheduled for September 16 in Paris.
Two months ago, the Islamic scholar was heard by a Swiss prosecutor on this case. It is now the turn of the French justice system to organize the confrontation between the plaintiff and Tariq Ramadan. According to Grégoire Leclerc, the plaintiff’s lawyer, this confrontation, scheduled at the Paris Judicial Court, will allow his client to give her version of the facts, nearly two years after filing a complaint for rape, reports LeMuslimPost.
As for Pascal Garbarini, Tariq Ramadan’s lawyer, he has made it known that his client is eagerly awaiting September 16 to confound the plaintiff in her lies. Tariq Ramadan had already denounced on July 16 last year these accusations, which he described as fanciful and unfounded, the same source specifies.
